Deluxe Payments Exchange initially asked us to create booth graphics for the upcoming Nacha trade show (electronic payments industry event). We had to work within the strategic constraint provided by client with messaging of “Do more with less,” which is now a well-worn phrase in the corporate world. However, it is often a reality. The creative team saw this as an opportunity to rephrase this in a more positive light, but to also better reflect the reality increased customer demand coming out of the pandemic, but with less staff and resources to meet those demands.
The solution I presented was “Charge up with Deluxe,” and presenting the company as solution to help fill in those resource gaps. Using in-brand elements, I created campaign visuals that were electric but calming. As a part of this, I created a booth environment with simple graphics, strategically placed signage, seating and amenities such as a device charging station in the booth to invite show attendees to linger, and provide more opportunity for Deluxe reps to start conversations and set up future appointments with leads. In support of the booth, I also created supporting promo items for the booth to identify reps, and also attract more attendees to the booth, by having reps walk around with branded bottled water.
My role in this concept was booth graphics, overall design, initial phrasing, and the promotional materials. The video storyboards were from another collaborating creative team member.
